The Poetry Recitation Competition: Rules and Regulations
Eligibility:
The competition is open to students from 5th to 10th grade.
Participants will be grouped into two categories:
Group A: 5th to 7th Grade
Group B: 8th to 10th Grade
Participants should be a registered student of a registered school.
Participants or their parents/guardians must have an active Facebook account.
How To Participate:
It's a simple four-step flow in each round
(There will be 3 rounds - refer to Participation Flow & Conditions)
Step 1 - Select any one poem of your choice from the list provided below in the Participation flow and conditions.
Step 2 - Recite the poem, create a REEL/Video and post it on Facebook with our tags and mentions.
Step 3 - Submit the link of your REEL/Video, by clicking the Submit Your Entry button on this page, then fill out the form, pay the fees and submit the form.
Step 4 - Once shortlisted after ROUND 2, be present at our mega offline event for the finale round to win exciting prizes & mega scholarships.

Participation Flow & Conditions:
There will be two online and one final offline round. Participants need to go through 3 Rounds to win the exciting prizes
Round 1: Online - First Video posting on Facebook, where participants will recite the poem from the provided list.
Round 2: Online - Second Video posting on Facebook, where participants recite another poem from the provided list.
Participants must choose a poem from the list provided below.

Create the VIDEO: The video must be between 2 - 5 minutes.
Ensure the VIDEO is clear and has good audio and visual quality.
The logo of our lead sponsor must be clearly visible in the background throughout the video. This logo should be printed, displayed, or included in editing the reel but should be prominently visible to ensure it's easily recognizable. To download the logo of our lead sponsors, CLICK HERE.
Post on Facebook:
Mention/Collaborate with @vrpkota and @VyasEdification.
Use hashtags #vrpkota, #vyasedification, and #tito in the caption.
Ensure the sponsor's logo is visible in the video.
Language: Only HINDI is allowed.
The video must be posted on Facebook, following the specific submission guidelines listed below.
Only selected participants from the online Round 2 will proceed to the offline competition.
Final Round: Finalists will participate in an offline stage round at the VRP campus, Kota, for the top prizes & mega scholarships. For the final round participants can choose any poem as per their wish.

Offline Poem Recitation Competition (Finals) at VRP Campus, Kota: 27 January 2024
Evaluation Criteria:
Entries of both the online round and the final round will be judged on the basis of the following:-
Diction and Clarity - Clarity of pronunciation and choice of words.
Voice Modulation - Variation in tone and volume to enhance delivery.
Expression - Use of facial expressions and body language to convey emotions.
Pacing and Rhythm - Appropriate speed and rhythm while reciting the poem.
Engagement with Audience - Ability to connect with and engage the audience.
Memory and Recitation - Reciting the poem from memory without looking at the text.
Overall Impact - The overall impression left on the audience/judges.
The first two online rounds will also include the Social media engagement marks (Msme) for Facebook will depend on comments (C), likes (L) and shares (S).

Participation Fee:
A nominal fee of INR 20 is required per entry.
The payment will be processed in continuation with the entry submission form Form.
Please ensure that you have posted the VIDEO on Facebook as per the contest format before filling out the entry submission form.
Prizes and Recognition:
Prizes will be awarded separately for each group (Group A and Group B).
Gold Medal: INR 11,000 cash prize + Trophy + Certificate of Achievement.
Silver Medal: INR 5,100 cash prize + Medal + Certificate of Achievement.
Bronze Medal: INR 2,100 cash prize + Medal + Certificate of Achievement.
Winners will also get a chance to sing and feature in their first original music video, produced by our lead sponsor.
All participants will receive an e-certificate of participation.
Submission Guidelines:
Post the video on your own or your parent's Facebook account with the required mentions/collaborations and hashtags.
Ensure the sponsor’s logo is displayed, all the collaborations are done & all the hashtags are placed in captions for consideration of the entry.
Submit the Facebook post link and video file via the Submit Your Entry button provided on this page.
Include your name, grade, and other school details in the form.
General Guidelines:
Offensive or inappropriate content will not be tolerated and will result in disqualification.
The organizers reserve the right to modify the rules and regulations if necessary. Participants will be notified of any changes.
Dos:
The video must be created by the participants themselves.
The use of pre-recorded audio or any form of digital enhancement is not allowed.
The content should be original.
Follow all submission guidelines and include required collaborations and hashtags.
Display the sponsor’s logo clearly.
Don’ts:
Do not use offensive, vulgar, or inappropriate content.
Avoid any content that compromises safety or security.
Do not include any content that violates ethical standards or human dignity.
If a participant submits multiple entries, then only the best entry will be considered from all the submitted entries.
Late submissions will not be accepted.
The organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the competition at any time.
By participating in the competition, participants agree to these rules and regulations and the terms and conditions.
Mere participating in this event doesn't give you any right to claim anything from organizers or sponsors.

काव्य पाठ को अच्छा और प्रभावशाली बनाने के लिए निम्नलिखित बिंदुओं का ध्यान रखा जा सकता है:
भावना और आत्मा: काव्य पाठ करते समय, कवि की भावनाओं और भावों को समझें और उन्हें पाठ में व्यक्त करने की कोशिश करें।

पुनरावृत्ति और उच्चारण: महत्वपूर्ण शब्दों और वाक्यों को पुनरावृत्त करके या उच्चारित करके उन्हें और अधिक प्रभावी बनाएं।
श्रोताओं से जुड़ें: श्रोताओं के साथ संपर्क बनाएं, उनकी प्रतिक्रियाओं को महसूस करें और उसी के आधार पर अपनी अभिव्यक्ति को समायोजित करें।
अभ्यास: नियमित रूप से अभ्यास करें ताकि आप अपने पाठ को आत्मविश्वास के साथ प्रस्तुत कर सकें।
