Poster Posturing is a Poster Making Competition: Rules & Regulations

Eligibility:

  • The competition is open to students from 5th to 10th grade.

  • Participants will be grouped into two categories:

    • Group A: 5th to 7th Grade

    • Group B: 8th to 10th Grade

  • Participants should be a registered student of a registered school.

  • Participants or their parents/guardians must have an active FaceBook account.

How To Participate:

It's a simple four-step flow
  • Step 1 - Select any one topic from the list for your group given below and paint it.

  • Step 2 - Create a Reel & Click a photo and post them on FaceBook with our tags and mentions.

  • Step 3 - Submit the link of your reel post and image post by clicking the Submit Your Entry button on this page, then fill out the form, pay the fees and submit the form.

  • Step 4 - Send your coloured picture to our registered office by post.

Participation Flow & Conditions:

  1. The participants have to make a poster on an A3 size sheet.

  2. To make the poster, participants can use any of the following 2 methods:

    1. Collage method
    2. Digital art method
  3. Participants need to choose a topic from the list of 7 topics provided below:-

    Topic 1 - मेरा भारत महान
    Topic 2 - Forgotten stories of Indian independence strugglers
    Topic 3 - मेरे सपनों का भारत (India of my dreams)
    Topic 4 - I dream to be ………………….
    Topic 5 - प्रकृतिरेव शरणम् (Nature is the only refuge)
    Topic 6 - Artificial Intelligence
    Topic 7 - My Inspiration
  4. The participants can choose either English or Hindi as the language to use in their poster.

  5. Parents should create a nice reel/video of less than 60 Sec, which shows the child actually creating the poster.

  6. Once the poster is completed, participants must take a well-lit picture shot of the poster.

  7. Participants must post the reel they created and a clear, well-lit photo of their coloured artwork on their Facebook account.

  8. The post should tag our lead sponsor's official FB page accounts: @vrpkota and @VyasEdification.

  9. Participants must also use the sponsor's and competition hashtags - #vrpkota, #vyasedification & #tito in their posts.

    NOTE: It is mandatory to include mentions @vrpkota, @VyasEdification and hashtags #vrpkota, #vyasedification & #tito to ensure their entry is considered.
  10. Then Participants must submit the link to their FB posts through a Submit Your Entry form, along with their name, grade, school details etc. by clicking the orange colour button on this page.

  11. Finally, participants must send the poster to our address by post, to display and appreciate your artwork at the final offline event of TITO'2024.

Important Dates:

  • The deadline for submitting your entry is 08 December 2024.

  • Winners will be announced on 29 January 2025.

  • Every participant has a 6-week time duration to colour, post and submit the entry and 8 weeks of time duration to make their social media post popular.

Evaluation Criteria:

  • Artwork will be judged based on the points scored.

  • One can earn a maximum of 60 points, 15 each for:

    1. creativity

    2. colour combination

    3. neatness

    4. overall artistic impression.

  • As you need to share your poster's reel and picture with the logo of Vyas Residential Program on Facebook, you will also earn points from Thumbs up/Like, comments and sharing.

  • The evaluation of social media posts will also include the Social Media Engagement marks (Msme) for Facebook and will depend on comments (C), likes (L) and shares (S).

    • Msme = ( C + L/50 + S/5 )

  • Judging will be done separately for each group to ensure fairness.

Participation Fee:

  • A non-refundable nominal participation fee of INR 20/- is to be paid for each entry.

  • Please ensure that you have posted the REEL and the image post on Facebook as per the contest format before filling out the entry submission form.

Prizes and Recognition:

  • Prizes will be awarded separately for each group (Group A and Group B).

    • Gold Medal: INR 11,000 cash prize + Trophy + Certificate of Achievement.

    • Silver Medal: INR 5,100 cash prize + Medal + Certificate of Achievement.

    • Bronze Medal: INR 2,100 cash prize + Medal + Certificate of Achievement.

  • All participants will receive an appreciation e-certificate for their involvement.

Submission Guidelines:

  1. Post the reel/video on your own or your parent's Facebook account with the required mentions/collaborations and hashtags.

  2. Ensure the sponsor’s logo is visible/displayed in the reel/video/post, all the collaborations are done & all the hashtags are placed in captions for consideration of the entry.

  3. Submit the Facebook reel/video link and image post link via the Submit Your Entry button provided on this page.

  4. Include your name, grade, and other school details in the form.

General Guidelines:

  • The drawing must be coloured by the participant themself.

  • Any form of copying or use of digital editing tools will lead to disqualification.

  • Offensive or inappropriate content will not be tolerated and will result in disqualification.

  • The organizers reserve the right to modify the rules and regulations if it seems necessary to do so. Participants will be notified of any changes.

  • If a participant submits multiple entries, then only the best entry will be considered from all the submitted entries.

  • Late submissions will not be accepted.

  • The organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the competition at any time.

  • By participating in the competition, participants agree to these rules and regulations and the terms and conditions.

  • Mere participating in this event doesn't give you any right to claim anything from organisers or sponsors.
