Reel Making Competition: Rules and Regulations
Eligibility:
The competition is open only for students in Group B (8th to 10th Grade).
Participants should be a registered student of a registered school.
Participants or their parents/guardians must have an active Instagram account.
How To Participate:
It's a simple four-step flow in each round
(There will be 3 rounds - refer to Participation Flow & Conditions)
Step 1 - Select any one topic of your choice from the list provided below in the Participation flow and conditions.
Step 2 - Create a Reel and post it on Instagram with our tags and mentions.
Step 3 - Submit the link of your reel post and image post by clicking the Submit Your Entry button on this page, then fill out the form, pay the fees and submit the form.
Step 4 - Once shortlisted, be present at our mega offline event for the finale round to win exciting prizes & mega scholarships.

Participation Flow & Conditions:
Choose a Topic: Select from the suggested list of topics below. you need to choose different topics for Round 1 and Round 2.
Create the Reel: The reel must be less than 60 seconds for each round.
Ensure the REEL is clear and has good audio and visual quality.
The logo of our lead sponsor must be clearly visible in the background throughout the video. This logo should be printed, displayed, or included in editing the reel but should be prominently visible to ensure it's easily recognizable. To download the logo of our lead sponsors, CLICK HERE.
Round 1: Participants must post the reel they created on their or their parent's Instagram account before 08 November 2024.
The post should collaborate with our lead sponsor's official Instagram page accounts: @vyasresidentialprogram and @vyas_edification.

Participants must also use the sponsor's and competition hashtags - #vrpkota, #vyasedification & #tito in their posts.
NOTE: It is mandatory to include mentions @vyasresidentialprogram, @vyas_edification and hashtags #vrpkota, #vyasedification & #tito to ensure their entry is considered.
Then Participants must submit the link to their Instagram posts through a Submit Your Entry form, along with their name, grade, school details etc. by clicking the orange colour button on this page.

Round 2: Participants must choose another topic, create a REEL and post the reel they created on their or their parent's Instagram account before 08 December 2024.
The entry submission process is the same as Round 1.
Finale Round: Shortlisted participants will create a reel of the event in an offline setting.
Shortlisted participants will be invited to present their models in person at the offline exhibition held at the VRP campus, Kota. Finalists will compete at the offline exhibition for the top prizes.
The date of the final round will be duly communicated to the shortlisted participants through mail/WhatsApp.
Language: Reels can be created in English or Hindi.

Every participant has a 5-week's time duration to create, post and submit the entry and make their social media post popular for each online round.
Evaluation Criteria:
Entries of both, the online round and the final round will be judged on the basis of the following:-
Creativity and originality.
Storytelling and relevance to the topic.
Visual appeal and presentation.
Social media engagement marks (Msme) for Instagram will depend on comments (C), likes (L) and shares (S).
Msme = ( C + L/50 + S/5 )
Participation Fee:
A nominal fee of INR 20 is required per entry.
The payment will be processed in continuation with the entry submission form Form.
Please ensure that you have posted the REEL on Instagram as per the contest format before filling out the entry submission form.
Prizes and Recognition:
Gold Medal: INR 11,000 cash prize + Trophy + Certificate of Achievement.
Silver Medal: INR 5,100 cash prize + Medal + Certificate of Achievement.
Bronze Medal: INR 2,100 cash prize + Medal + Certificate of Achievement.
All participants will receive an e-certificate of participation.
Submission Guidelines:
Post the reel/video on your own or your parent's Instagram account with the required collaborations and hashtags.
Ensure the sponsor’s logo is visible/displayed in the reel/video/post, all the collaborations are done & all the hashtags are placed in captions for consideration of the entry.
Submit the Instagram reel/video link and image post link via the Submit Your Entry button provided on this page.
Include your name, grade, and other school details in the form.
General Guidelines:
Offensive or inappropriate content will not be tolerated and will result in disqualification.
The organizers reserve the right to modify the rules and regulations if necessary. Participants will be notified of any changes.
Dos:
The reel must be created by the participants themselves. The use of pre-recorded audio or any form of digital enhancement is allowed, but the content should be original.
Follow all participation conditions and other guidelines.
Display the sponsor’s logo clearly.
Don’ts:
Do not use offensive, vulgar, or inappropriate content.
Avoid any content that compromises safety or security.
Do not include any content that violates ethical standards or human dignity.
If a participant submits multiple entries, then only the best entry will be considered from all the submitted entries.
Late submissions will not be accepted.
The organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the competition at any time.
By participating in the competition, participants agree to these rules and regulations and the terms and conditions.
Mere participating in this event doesn't give you any right to claim anything from organisers or sponsors.
